The 5th Action Coordination Unit (ACU) meeting, held as part of the “Disaster Resilient Türkiye” Project, took place in a hybrid format hosted by the Disaster and Emergency Management Authority (AFAD).

The meeting was attended by Mr. Maruf Yaman, Head of the AFAD Department of External Relations; Mr. Güven SEYDİOĞLU, Contract Specialist from the Project Implementation Department of the General Directorate of European Union and Foreign Relations of the Ministry of Environment, Urbanization and Climate Change; and representatives from the consulting firm.

The meeting reviewed the current status of the project and the progress made in the implementation process, and participants were informed about the activities carried out during the implementation period. 

The parties evaluated the plans for activities to be carried out in the coming period and exchanged views on the problems encountered in the project implementation process and proposed solutions.

The meeting concluded after the discussion of the agenda items and a general assessment of the progress of the project.
