ABOUT THE PROJECT Overall Objective of the project is:

To contribute to improving environmental quality, combating climate change, and enhancing citizens’ quality of life by aligning environmental protection activities with the European Union’s environmental and climate action plans

Specific Objectives of the Project:

  • Establishment of a wastewater management system contributing to the reduction of environmental pollution through the construction of a wastewater treatment plant and a stormwater collection system
  • Contributing to public health by improving water quality
  • With the objective of establishing climate-resilient cities, ensuring the proper collection of rainfall in the district and its discharge without causing flooding
  • Meeting the wastewater management needs of the region until 2050 through the construction of approximately 26 km of stormwater network and a wastewater treatment plant
