| ABOUT THE PROJECT | Within the scope of the project, there are two wastewater treatment plants: the Northern (Yeşili) plant with an average capacity of 12,052 m³/day and 4,400,000 m³/year, which will serve until 2032, and the Southern (Kızıltepe) plant with an average capacity of 64,749 m³/day and 23,600,000 m³/year, which will also serve until 2032. These plants serve 291,431 people.
Within the scope of the contract, approximately 137.4 km of sewerage network construction has been carried out, including in the north 22.30 km of HDPE and concrete pipes of various diameters, 135 manholes and 52 household connections, and in the south 115.10 km of HDPE and concrete pipes, 2,090 manholes and 1,637 household connections. In addition, in the south, 3.6 km of concrete pipes with a diameter of 2 m and 18.2 km of concrete pipes with a diameter of 1 m have been constructed; in the north, 15.7 km of concrete pipes with a diameter of 1 m have been constructed, serving as the northern and southern collectors. Within the scope of this project, approximately 174 km of pipelines have been laid, together with the installation of 2,225 manholes and 1,689 household connections. In addition to the pipelines laid, two reinforced concrete septic tanks with a capacity of 500 m³/day have been constructed to meet the needs of the region, together with three reinforced concrete collection structures in various areas for the collection of surface wastewater. |
