Within the scope of the European Union-funded Technical Assistance for Results-Oriented Monitoring in Türkiye – Phase IV (ROM IV) Project, the IPAdemi Coordination Meeting and Workshop on Developing the Pool of Trainers was organized by the Directorate for EU Affairs of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs on 22 July 2026.

The event brought together experts from public institutions and provided an opportunity to comprehensively assess the training activities carried out under IPAdemi to date, as well as the achievements made. In line with the capacity-building needs of participating institutions, the training programmes to be implemented in the upcoming period, the training calendar, and inter-institutional cooperation processes were also discussed.

During the workshop sessions, participants worked on competency frameworks, training modules, and a common training approach for the design of the IPABridge Training Programme, which is planned to be implemented in the future. Through group work and practical sessions, participants shared their views and recommendations for the further development of the programme.

Representing our Ministry, Mr. Mehmet Yunus İNAN, Head of the Project Preparation and Monitoring Department, and Ms. Funda YETGİN, Environment and Urbanization Expert, attended the meeting and workshop and contributed to the assessments and related activities.

The activities carried out made a significant contribution to enhancing the exchange of knowledge and experience, planning training activities in a manner that responds more effectively to institutional needs, developing the pool of trainers, and strengthening inter-institutional coordination. Based on the joint assessments, important steps were taken towards ensuring that IPAdemi’s capacity-building activities continue within a stronger and more sustainable framework.
