ABOUT THE PROJECT Overall Objective of the project is:

To contribute to the improvement of water quality in the region and public health, and to support the accession process by ensuring Türkiye’s compliance with environmental protection and EU wastewater sector directives

Specific Objectives of the Project:

  • Construction of wastewater treatment plant
  • Meeting the wastewater treatment needs of the region until 2028
  • Improving the water quality via reducing pollution load caused by untreated wastewater discharge in the existing situation and contribute to improvement of public health
