The 6th Steering Committee Meeting of the “Doğubayazıt Wastewater Project” was held on 23 October 2026 at the Ministry of Environment, Urbanization and Climate Change. The meeting was attended by Ms. Şermin Özdemir, Head of the Project Implementation Department of the Directorate General for European Union and Foreign Relations, along with representatives of the Delegation of the European Union to Türkiye, Doğubayazıt Municipality, and the Consultant. During the meeting, progress in the construction of the Wastewater Treatment Plant was reviewed, and implementation-related issues encountered during the construction process were discussed. The participants also exchanged views on ensuring effective project implementation and strengthening coordination among the relevant stakeholders.
