An information presentation entitled “Technical Assistance for Results-Oriented Monitoring in Türkiye – Phase IV” was held at our Ministry on 12 December 2025.

During the presentation delivered by the Team Leader Mr. Colm McClements and the Deputy Team Leader Mr. Steven O’Connor, who are working on the project for which the Presidency for European Union Affairs is the beneficiary, detailed information was provided on the scope of the Results Oriented Monitoring (ROM) approach, monitoring processes, and its contributions to project implementation.

The meeting was held with the participation of Mr. Mehmet Yunus İnan, Head of the Project Preparation and Monitoring Department of the Directorate General of European Union and Foreign Relations of the Ministry of Environment, Urbanization and Climate Change, Ms. Selda Güngör, Manager of the Monitoring and Evaluation Unit, as well as staff from the Project Preparation Unit and the Monitoring and Evaluation Unit. 

During the meeting, it was emphasized that the ROM system is an important tool for ensuring effective monitoring of environment and climate projects implemented in Türkiye, producing evaluable results, and strengthening compliance with EU standards. In addition, information was shared on the contracts selected from our sector within the scope of Results Oriented Monitoring activities, as well as the content of the 2026–2027 ROM Schedule.
